Analisis kinerja pasar pada pemasaran jagung


Maize is one of plants food which has high economic value. Marketing efficiency by Market Performance Analyze is important to give best alternative in order to increase maize farmer income. The purpose of research is to know about market margins, price share for farmer, cost share and profit among department of maize marketing in research location including about rate of capital returns. Act of determining farmer sample by simple random sampling. Act of determining trader sample by snow ball sampling is according to information from farmer about who's buying the commodity. The research result show marketing margin in every maize marketing channels have variation rate and undistributed, the same with price share and profit and cost ratio than returns of capital (ROC). The longer marketing channels the bigger marketing margin, but less price share for farmer. For village collecting traders ROC value about 12,49 percent, sub district collecting traders about 11,73 percent and maize traders about 27,78 percent. It is show about maize marketing system in research location inefficient.
